Fabulous Cheat Days

Hey Loves!

Today is a short post because quite honestly I'm having a cheat day! I can eat whatever I want and feel guilt free about it! Writing this I'm eating a Dunkin Donut's doughnut and Iced Tea and after this who knows...pizza might be in my future :D After losing three pounds this week (long way to go but I'm optimistic) I think I need to not think about what I'm eating today so....yes in SL and RL...I'm having a cheat day.  

Since this is a short post I'd just like to say that one of my favorite designers has decided to hang up her designing hat. Buttery Toast has been a place of comfort and happiness for me since the day I found it and to watch it close it's doors is bittersweet. I'll miss the blogger's group banter, and the excitement of seeing what lovely Mama Toast has released but I know nothing but great things will follow Fayfay. She is a great person and Fayfay...as much as I don't want you to go I still wish nothing but the VERY best for you.

I know halloween is a while away but you give me something covered in blood and just...yes. Through all of my cute and love for all things kawaii I ADORE a good scary goodness probably a lot more than I should. What's that you want to watch a horror marathon with me? YES PLEASE! 

Today my outfit was inspired by a movie I watched some time ago called "Stay Alive" with Frankie Muniz about teens who die in real life if they die in the video game that are playing. Sad but true...I would have some hilarious deaths including but not limited to: Walking off the Edge, Forgetting to put armor on and walking into the fight unprepared, Taking on a boss ACCIDENTALLY, being ambushed, OH the list is long but most of my deaths are from me just...being quite noob :D

So another honest moment with you all? I absolutely LOVE thrift shopping! I don't do it all the time but when I do I have so much fun doing it. You can buy books for about 10 cents - 25 cents. You can find simple additions to your closet, like I found a black skater skirt I can't live without now and it was only 2 dollars *sniffs the air* you smell that? It smells like...fashionable savings :D

How's life? Good I hope since I honestly just want the best for everyone I happen to run into in my life! 

For a long time in my life I thought that the subliminal messages stuff was pure crap in my mind I thought "wow if you can barely hear it, how is it going to change anything?" and a long time friend of mine told me that is starts with me. It starts with me WANTING to believe the positive things in the messages might be true, with me WANTING to let go of the negative images of myself and I must say....he was right. I've recently been letting subliminal music play around me while I clean and it has been leaving me feeling...so super charged and amazing after so my dears if any of you have a bit of a sparkle stealer I do suggest trying this and telling me how it goes!

Even as a kid I was always close to my grandmother and to this day it hasn't changed. I mean...sure we get into our little debates and quarrels but that's what happens when you live with someone right? My mom used to tell me my grandmother gave her permission to raise me but as an adult I'd be going back to my "real mom" which I used to think was super funny but now looking at things....I think she may have been right o.o! Been a relaxing weekend for me and I did like the time I had to lay around and shop with my Chocho. I think from now on my weekends will be blog post-less...unless it's a skin review since those are the days I make my shapes!

ANYWHO today I am dressed in this outfit that kinda looks like a drink I love called blueberry crushes I guess you can call that my inspiration for the day. It is a sweet but sour drink because is contains lemon juice with blueberry syrup and some sort of corn syrup mixture and it is delicious...LIKE ME hehehehe. Some of you know by now I am a huge Harry Pothead and anything and I mean ANYTHING I can find that is HP related must be used right? 

I think I fell in love with the series so much because of the teacher who got me interested in it. Her name was Mrs. Frero and sad to say I gave her hell. At this time in my life I was a bit of a ticking time bomb angry at everyone for the internal pain I was going through. I would yell, scream, even knock over desks...It was an embarrassing time in my life and I had NO excuse. Instead of giving up on me like I think I internally wanted her to do she handed me a book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and told me to read it. I'd sit in a ball near her desk and read out loud and for the first time I was someone's focus...and I read and I read until the very last page. For two years she gave me that half an hour a day to read to her. I guess this is my long way of saying she gave me a voice, I didn't have to yell and scream anymore. I thank her so much for giving me my magic.

Something about the cold creeping up my back slowly freezing my body made me kind of shy away from a full winter post today. Plus it makes me a little bit of a bad ass don't you think? *looks over her shoulder* "Yeah, it's snowing" *puts on a bikini and takes a swim* "now what" Dude....you dun wanna mess with a bad ass like me :D

My post today has a bit of connect from a post I did last year about Lady Frost. This is her sister, Princess Printemps, lady of Spring and overcoming. Every year when the lands of Lady Frost become consumed with sadness and pain she slowly walks through picking up snowflakes and melting them, sending good fortune in the form of a flower bud taking the drop of water from the snowflake to grow it into something amazing and positive. Everytime you see a flower bud in spring know that is Princess Printemps showing you that life will always get better even after misfortune. I know...still not that great of a story writer but yeah...hehe.
